• Drafting vs. Final Product

During the semester we encourage you to view your document as a work in progress. Every draft you create presents an opportunity for you to hone your writing skills and get one step closer to a usable document for your site partner. With that said, you should keep in mind that even when you think the document(s) accurately portray your site partner’s purpose for the document(s), your site partner may ask you to make changes. These changes most likely reflect the site partner’s need to maintain stylistic integrity for outreach materials. Therefore, we want you to remember that your site partner’s feedback is intended for their needs and are not necessarily comments about your writing ability.
