Water Year 2006

Water Year 2006 is a document prepared annually by the Colorado Climate Center under the direction of the state climatologist, Nolan Doesken. In 2006, Sharon Poessel wrote this long brochure. This document serves the needs of a diverse range of readers – farmers and ranchers across the state, natural resource managers, city and county water managers, and others concerned about use of water or watershed resources. Although many of the readers are technically expert in their own fields, the Water Year data is used by so many constituents across disciplines that it needs to be clear to all these readers.
